Cari Ham
Certified Personal Trainer

I have been personal training for seven years, working with a wide variety of clients each with individual needs and goals. The last 6 years I have been working in homes, bringing safe and effective workouts right to my client’s doorstep.

Originally from the Chicago area, I graduated from the University of Illinois in May 2002. It was there I competed on the varsity gymnastics team earning an athletic scholarship to represent the university and continue to pursue my lifelong passion for gymnastics. After four years of hard work, I earned 4 varsity letters, set a school record on the floor exercise, won academic Big Ten honors and was a 4 time NCAA regional qualifier. More importantly, I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies.

In the year following graduation, I worked in a physical therapy and wellness center in Champaign, Illinois. It was there I gained valuable experience working directly with therapists to better the health and fitness abilities of my clients. I worked with individuals with orthopedic concerns, Arthritis, MS, Fibromyalgia, and much more. Additionally, I focused on weight loss and sport specific training programs.

Now self employed and working in southern California, I continue to work with a variety of individuals, helping them to reach their fitness goals. When I’m not training others, I enjoy training myself. I love to run, hike, bike, and compete in triathlons. Living in southern California offers one of the most beautiful places to enjoy nature and make exercise fun!

My objective as a personal trainer is to provide safe and effective workouts, but also to motivate and push my clients to be the best person they can be. I have seen amazing transformations through the years and look forward to helping you achieve all your fitness goals.
