SUPER BOWL SALSA!
Monday, January 28, 2013 at 8:00AM In this Super Bowl the real question you should be asking is not which Harbaugh brother will win, but rather what you are going to bring to your super bowl party. We all know that the store bought salsa tastes like turf toe, so why not be the MVP of your superbowl party and bring some fresh, healthy salsa that is made from all real ingredients. Oh - and it’s really easy - which is always a plus.
We are going to use
5 Tomatoes
1/2 Onion
4 Garlic Cloves
3 De-seeded Jalpenos
1 De-seeded Serrano Pepper
1 de-seeded Habanero Pepper
½ Bunch of Cilantro
1 Lime
and ½ Teaspoon of Sea Salt
And if it couldn’t get any easier, we are just going to put each of these ingredients into a food processor one by one and mix them together to make THIS! It really is that simple.
And why we are at it, here are a few options for a healthier chip - a Rice Chip, a Hemp Chip, and a Blue Corn flaxseed deal. All of them are gluten free if that’s your bag, and will be a much better option than most of what is out there so make sure you bring something like this to your party.
