Spicy Yams Recipe - A Healthy Way to Cook with Coconut Oil
Monday, March 12, 2012 at 11:02AM Here's another Healthy Recipe for you to try as part of your Healthy, Active Lifestyle. Spicy Yams using Coconut Oil. I have been using Coconut Oil on practically everything these days. I find it a healthier option than Olive Oil or butter. It turns out that the taste is better too!
Mince or press 4 fresh garlic cloves and mix it with 1.5 tablespoons of coconut oil.
warm up the oil on the stove just a bit to get it to a liquid state, and pour it on the Jams.
on the side, mix up
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
chopped, fresh basil 4 leaves
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon oregano
