Scosche Rhythm Pulse Monitor

I’ve been working with Scosche Industries for the past couple years on their bluetooth wireless pulse monitors.  First, it was the Scosche myTREK, and now the second generation pulse monitor the Scosche Rhythm is on the market.  The Scosche Rhythm has some major improvements over the myTREK.  With the new design, the pulse sensors are inside the unit, not in the armband which will improve longevity and accuracy of the product.  The new redesign should last much longer with better results, and it is much more comfortable to wear.
I’m very excited to show you how it works -

You wear the pulse monitor on your forearm when you exercise.  Pair the device with your iOS or Android smart phone to be able to track your workout data - Heart rate, Calories burned, GPS, Google maps of your route, and much more!

The buttons on the Rhythm conveniently control your music.  The multi function button in the center will turn the unit on, play pause your music, and track forward/back (iOS).  The other two buttons will control the volume of your music that is being played through your phone or iPod.  It helpful to have your favorite music in your ears while you exercise to keep you motivated!

Start your workout on your app, and the app will record your data until you pause or stop your workout.  Once your workout is finished, stop your workout on the app, and you get some very nice summary screens of your effort.

In addition to being able to view your data from your workout on the app, you can sync your data with the Scosche Dashboard which will allow you to see your efforts in greater detail and share with other platforms such as Runkeeper, MapMyFitness, and myfitnesspal.  And of course you can brag to your friends and make them feel guilty for sitting on the couch for the past hour by sharing with Facebook and Twitter!

I find that having some exercise data with me while I exercise helps to motivate me to push harder.  Music is also essential for increasing my motivation levels as well.  The Scosche Rhythm is an excellent tool for my healthy, active lifestyle and I think it would be very beneficial for you as well.  Give it a shot!  This new technology is fun, motivating, and functional.
