I went with some of my Malibu standup paddle buddies up to see Wardog in Santa Barbara last weekend and we tried lots of different boards - mainly Starboards and Naish boards.  The general consensus was that the Starboard 9'8" was a clear stand out as a stable, maneuverable board that is good in the surf and easy to balance on.
